To download from newsgroups

1. Download SABnzbd or Newsleecher
   
   
2. Setup an account with Astraweb or Giganews
   
   
   • $11 a month special from Astraweb
   • To get Newsleecher for free, sign-up to Giganews from Newsleecher
     
     
3. Register NewsLeecher
   
   If you signed up to Giganews through the NewsLeecher website
   
   
   • Click the Continue Trial button (after the countdown expires)
     
     
   • Click Help | License Key Tools | Register NewsLeecher (Giganews Special)
     
     
   • Enter your Giganews details and click Complete Registration
     
     
   • NewsLeecher will restart automatically
     
    
4. Setup NewsLeecher
   
   
• Click Settings
  
  
  • Under Connection
    
    
    • Check Auto Connect at Launch
      
      
  • Under NZB Files
    
    
    • Check Auto Import *.NZB Files
      
    • Click Browse and select the folder where you download files (normally Downloads under your name)
      
      
  • Under Repair 'n' Extract
    
    
    • Check Enable Repair 'n' Extract
    • Check Dl. Queue Auto Unpausing
    • Check Dl. Queue Auto Cleaning
      
  
  
• Click Manager (below the Connect button)
  
  
• Click Add Server
  
  
  • Server Address: news.giganews.com
  • Port: (no change)
    
  • Server Nickname: Giganews
  • Connections: 4
  • Priority: (no change)
  • Check Encrypted Server Connection (SSL) and click Yes
  • Check Server Requires Login and enter your Giganews details
    
    
• Click Connect
  
  
• Click SuperSearch Service
  
  
• Max Days: 370
• SuperSearch the Usenet: (whatever you are looking for!)
• Click the checkbox next to what you want to download
  
  
• To download multiple files, select all the rows and press Ctrl+D
• To auto-select similar files, select one row and press Alt+S
  
  
• Click the Queue tab to see the download progress
